Urban Ohio Biking

The University/Parks Trail is an urban trail running 6.5 miles west from the University of Toledo. The trail goes through residential neighborhoods and is fenced off in those areas, two overpasses at busy streets, portions of the trail parallel a freight rail line. It also links three parks: Ottawa, Wildwood Preserve and Olander. The best parking is at the pretty Wildwood Preserve Metropark which includes a link to the trail. At the west end, bike lanes lead to Ottawa Park. From the University of Toledo at the east end, follow the road signs to Olander Park. Benches and water fountains are located along the trail.
