North Coast Inland Trail...

Biking in Ohio

Three segments of the trail are completed: Lorain County (23 miles, Elyria to Wakeman), Huron County (2 sections, 5 miles Wakeman to Norwalk and 10 miles, Norwalk to Bellevue), and Sandusky/Ottawa Counties (28 miles, Bellevue to Elsmore). A work in progress, plans are to connect the sections, filling the gaps to total 105 miles from Lorain to Toledo. Cities and towns along the trail have restaurants, historical sites, and other amenities. Between towns much of the trail runs through farmland - straight and flat with little shade.
