Cape Fear River Trail...

Biking in North Carolina

The trail runs 5.5 miles at Fayetteville and along the Fear River. River views, wooden bridges including a covered bridge and a boardwalk. Runs through woodland and marsh, mostly flat with some hilly sections. Abundant wildlife, interpretative signs. Benches, picnic tables, and port-a-lets provided along the trail. The trail is part of the East Coast Greenway (Maine to Florida). (Detailed map and photos below.)
