Acadia National Park
Stunning Acadia National Park is the oldest national park east of the Mississippi River and the only one in Maine. Its rocky Atlantic coastline is renowned. We visited two sections, Mount Desert Island (location of Bar Harbor) and the Schoodic Peninsula (the only part of the Park located on the mainland). Biking is available in both sections. Check in at the Hulls Visitor Center on Mount Desert Island for park information. (See links, below).
