Centennial Trail-Snohomish County

Snohomish County Centennial Trail is one of several trails built or extended to commemorate Washington State's Centennial Celebration starting in 1989. The popular trail runs 30 miles north from Snohomish to the Skagit County Line, largely following SR 9, and consists of a paved multi-use recreation trail and parallel equestrian trail. Trailheads, parks, benches, restrooms located along the way. Future expansion will run 12 miles south to Woodinville at the King County line. (Detailed map and photos below.)

The trail crosses SR9 at an underpass and proceeds through downtown Arlington. Continuing north, the bridge (a former railroad trestle) over the Stillaguamish River is a notable feature.
