The oldest (1733) city in Georgia, Savannah is one of our favorite travel destinations for its many historic sites, beautiful architecture, great food and many activities. There are no dedicated bike trails, but rather a growing number of bike lanes and pathways are being developed. (Detailed map and photos below.)

Biking in Savannah

Historic Savannah

Bicycling is a great way to see Historic Savannah, though the cobblestone streets can be pretty rough. Biking is not allowed in the historic town squares.
